Mussorgsky’s famous musical stroll through Viktor Hartmann’s art exhibition spectacularly crowns this concert in Ravel’s masterful orchestration. In the first half we open with Sibelius’ ode to his homeland Finlandia, followed by Orchestra Leader Adam Summerhayes’ violin concerto, The Fiddler’s Tale, performed by the composer himself.
